The Protea plant, also known as sugar shrubs, is native to South Africa. They are believed to have been named after Proteus, the son of Poseidon in Greek mythology. Proteus could change its shape at any time and the Protea plant has over 1400 different varieties.
It is because of this that the protea flower symbolizes change and transformation, and in the language of the flower it also means diversity and courage.
Interpreted in a beautiful enamel pin with keepsake, it has dark green leaves, rose pink outer petals or diapers and a cream pink center.
It is made of luxe, hard enamel Cloisonné with a highly polished 10K Gold base and is also presented on a bright and beautiful illustrated short side.
